PARENTS & CITIZENS ASSOCIATION (P & C)

The Padstow North Public School P&C Association consists of parents and community members who work together to support the students, teachers and school.

The committee consists of a president, two vice presidents, a treasurer and a secretary. Elections are held annually for these positions and all members are welcome to nominate for the roles.

Membership fee is $1. This entitles members to vote at meetings. Attendance at four meetings in one calendar year will entitle members to vote at the annual general meeting. To join the P&C simply attend a meeting and register your name and address.

Events discussed at the monthly meeting can be found in the school newsletter under 'President's Report'.

Guest speakers present presentations on a range of topics. These have included homework, how maths is taught, cyber safety, interactive whiteboards and connected classrooms, helping your child with reading and school sports.

The P&C has various sub-committees: canteen, book club, student banking, uniform shop and FUNdraising.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

The P&C conducts a wide variety of activities which include: mothers' day and fathers' day Stalls, trivia nights, spring fair, special canteen days, sausage sizzles, year 6 farewell dinner and dance.
